In the last video we drained the brake fluid, so please do that before following my steps as we are going to disconnect the brake fluid intake and outtake pipes from the front brake pedal. Once you have drained it, we are going to remove the union bolt from the top (brake fluid intake).

Once the footboards are down from the frame, you can remove the kill switch on the kick stand.

Front-wheel and forks
We next need to remove the front wheel in order to take the front forks off. Before removing the front axel, remove the locking bolt located on the bottom of the left fork. Once removed use a 12mm allan socket to remove the axel. Then you should be able to remove the wheel.
Loosen the indicator clamps so that they move freely on the forks, then use a 27mm socket to remove both end caps from both of the front forks located on the top yoke. Next, while ensuring the front of the motorcycle is elevated and secure remove the lower yoke fork clamp bolts with an 8mm allan socket.
If you have standard forks or a different bike, check your user manual because sometimes the end cap is part of the fork and inside is a spring which will shoot out.
If the front fork needs encouraging, use 14mm, long allan socket and drop it inside so it sits on the spring cap and tap it with a hammer to encourage it to come free. Refer to the video for accurate representation. Repeat on the other side.
On stock forks, the top caps are essential to locking that fork into place, so make sure you use those nuts that came out of them when you are putting it all back together.
